I am a CSE Ph.D. student at the University of Washington in WildLab, co-advised by Katharina Reinecke and R. Benjamin Shaprio. I am also very fortunate to have an on-going collaboration with Jason Wu. Broadly, my research focuses on understanding how culture shapes the way users interact with digital technology and building more personalized tools for them. More specifically I draw upon human computer interaction (HCI) research and computational modeling to understand user interace usability for different demographic groups to develop models and tools that can provide more personalized user interfaces.
